AQS Quality Policy Statement

The certification scheme operated by AQS is the model system which complies with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015. The quality system documented in this Quality Manual is supported by the appropriate procedures and other associated documentation.

AQS understands the importance of impartiality in carrying out its management system certification activities manages conflict of interest and ensures the objectivity and impartiality of its management system certification activities. It is therefore the policy of AQS to offer an impartial professional Quality Management System Certification service to industry by providing clients with the necessary expertise, practical interpretation, business acumen and approachability to allow them to benefit and perceive value from their experiences with AQS.

Our objectives are to maintain business growth and maximize client retention, and to be the preferred supplier of companies wishing to obtain these services in Egypt and abroad. This will be achieved through the dedication of the staff employed in providing clients with the highest quality level of service available.

In order to achieve our policy and objectives all staff must continue to support, operate and promote our quality system and certification scheme, suggesting improvement where these may enhance our present service and maximize client / customer retention. We are therefore to react quickly to new challenges and changes within our business to ensure that we continue to deliver a first -class service to our customers.

Our staff is determined as a team to ensure that, customers’ needs are realized and securing a long- term future for us all. The certification is conducted according to the relevant internationally acceptable standards.

AQS Policy on Impartiality

  • AQS Top Management is free from the control of any individual or organization that may have a direct commercial interest in the products or services to be certificated. A commitment to impartiality in management system certification activities.
  • AQS and any entity under the organizational control of AQS do not offer or provide:
    • Those services that it certifies others to perform
    • Consulting services to obtain or maintain certification
    • Services to design implement or maintain Quality Systems
  • AQS does not certify another certification body for its quality management system.
  • AQS & any entity under the organizational control of AQS does not offer or provide internal audit services to its certified clients, or certify a management system on which internal audits were provided within two years of those audits having been completed.
  • AQS does not certify a management system on which a client has received management system consultancy or internal audits since last 2 years, where the relationship between the consultancy organization and the certification body poses an unacceptable threat to NES’s impartiality.
  • AQS does not outsource audits to a management system consultancy organization, as this poses an unacceptable threat to the impartiality. However, AQS may sub-contract audits to an external body in case of abroad clients only.
  • AQS ’s activities are not being marketed or offered as linked with the activities of an organization that provides management system consultancy.
  • AQS management and staff who have provided management system consultancy are not take part in any assessment or other certification activities if they have been involved in the provision of consultancy to the client in question within a two-year period following the end of the consultancy.
  • AQS takes action to respond to any threats to its impartiality arising from the actions of other persons, bodies or organizations.
  • All AQS personnel, either internal or external, or committees, who could influence the certification activities, are required to act impartially and are not allow commercial, financial or other pressures to compromise impartiality.
  • AQS requires all personnel (internal and external) to reveal any situation known to them that may present them or AQS with a conflict of interests.
  • AQS uses this information as input to identifying threats to impartiality raised by the activities of such personnel or by the organizations that employ them, and will not use such personnel unless it can be demonstrated that there is no conflict of interests.
